Even though the room was small(single queen bed) you could tell the fixtures were updated. This was perfect for our one night stay in Ann Arbor! The location was within a half mile of US 23 and also close to an affluent residential area. My wife and I felt very safe and secure at this location. The only negative would be the lack of hot food breakfast options besides waffles. There was plenty of yogurt, cereal, pastry and fresh hard boiled eggs. Don't let the low rate fool you...this place "punches above its weight". Pro tip: If you or anyone in your party is a light sleeper, ask for an even numbered room that is on the entrance side of this facility. Someone made an earlier comment about the US 23 road noise; but their room was on the side facing US 23.

The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and as helpful as she could be BUT regarding the rest of my stay... in no particular order, could not get my laptop to connect to their WiFi (never had a problem elsewhere, worldwide); sheets were not clean; found a dead mosquito at the bottom of my coffee cup; mattress and pillows were not particularly comfortable. I just needed a clean, quiet bed for a very brief stay but next time I'll spend the extra money and go elsewhere.
