Room was dirty. Dirty toilet paper, moldy shower, hairs on bed sheets, moldy ac unit. Noisey room, and definitely not up to par

Upon arrival, we were given a standard room when we had booked and paid for a suite. The front desk stated that the room was changed from a suite to a standard room without notifying us. The hotel was full therefore we had no other option. Needless to say our sleeping arrangements were less than ideal. Our room was very damp, had hair in the bathtub from previous tenants, and not enough towels. On a positive, breakfast was good.

I booked and paid through hotels.com, and when I arrived to check in, the front desk tried to charge me $194, instead of the $100 for incidentals. I checked in with the front desk multiple times to resolve this (since I paid in full) and they never gave me any update. The room smelled like cigarettes. They also gave me the wrong TV remote. The only remote in my room was the remote that comes with the TV and can only access the settings. I called the front desk to have this resolved and nothing happened. I was unable to watch any TV for my stay. Very disappointing considering I have stayed at this hotel before and have been extremely satisfied. I would not recommend staying here. The staff members are nice, but there are better hotels in the area.
